Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy faces public scrutiny over his changing stance on the caste census. Videos from his past have emerged, showing him questioning the government’s ability to secure sensitive data collected from households, raising concerns about data privacy and rationale.

In a video recently shared by former MLA Kalvakuntla Vidyasagar Rao on X, Reddy, during his tenure as a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader, is seen questioning data security in census activities. Meanwhile, another video, shared by BRS spokesperson Putta Vishnuvardhan Reddy, reveals the Chief Minister affirming his commitment to the caste census, stating,

“As Chief Minister, it’s my responsibility to fulfill our leader’s commitment to social justice.”

Additionally, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu extended birthday greetings to Reddy on X, to which he promptly responded with thanks.
