Hyderabad, June 3, 2023 — Mohammed Azher Uddin Khan, popularly known as Armaan Khan, has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Telangana State Chapter of the National Consumer Rights Commission (NCRC). His appointment was formalized under ID: NCRC/DEL/2588/TS/040.
The NCRC is a national-level body committed to safeguarding consumer rights and ensuring accountability across industries and services. The Commission works to resolve consumer grievances, spread awareness, and promote ethical practices in the marketplace.
Armaan Khan, a well-known social worker and businessman, has long been active in public service. He also manages the Mohammed Zaheeruddin Khan Memorial Welfare Trust, established in 2003 by his late father, Mohammed Zaheeruddin Khan. What began with supporting 70 underprivileged families during Ramzan has now grown into an initiative reaching more than 1,000 families annually.
Continuing the family’s legacy, Armaan Khan’s father, Md. Masiuddin Khan, played a vital role in strengthening the trust after the founder’s demise. Today, under Armaan Khan’s leadership, the trust not only distributes Ramzan ration kits but also carries out various welfare programs funded by the family’s own income, reflecting a deep commitment to community welfare.
On Thursday, the Trust distributed Ramzan ration kits to over 1,500 poor and deserving families, showcasing its sustained efforts to uplift marginalized communities.
With his new role in the NCRC, Armaan Khan is expected to bring the same dedication to protecting consumer interests across Telangana while continuing his philanthropic work through the trust.
