KTR Slams Revanth Reddy Over Telangana’s Financial Crisis

KT Rama Rao Challenges Revanth Reddy on Telangana’s Financial Management.Hyderabad: In a bold move that has caught the attention of many, KTR challenges C.M on Telangana’s financial management. The BRS working President and son of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of pushing the state into a financial crisis through mismanagement and misleading propaganda. During a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, KTR emphasized the achievements of the BRS regime over the last decade and urged Revanth Reddy to publicly debate the state’s economic progress in the Assembly.

A Direct Challenge to Revanth Reddy

KTR’s challenge to Revanth Reddy is not just a political maneuver; it is a call for transparency. He cited the State Statistical Atlas Report, an official government document that counters Revanth Reddy’s claims regarding increasing debt levels. Yet, Revanth continues to spread falsehoods,” KTR asserted.

KTR also highlighted various initiatives that have bolstered the agricultural sector, particularly the Kaleshwaram and Mission Kakatiya projects, which have revolutionized irrigation in the state. He criticized the previous Congress government for allegedly neglecting crucial irrigation projects and mismanaging water resources.

Critiques of the Congress Government

KTR accused the Congress government of creating an artificial water crisis by emptying the Medigadda barrage, which he claims has harmed farmers. He further condemned Revanth Reddy for making disparaging comparisons, likening Telangana to a “cancer patient.” KTR stated, “Only a wicked mind like Revanth Reddy can compare a progressive state to a terminal disease. His words reflect incompetence and disdain for Telangana’s growth.”

In his remarks, KTR also hinted at a possible alliance between the BJP and Revanth Reddy, questioning the lack of action from the Central government regarding alleged corruption in Telangana. “Despite numerous complaints, the BJP has not acted against scams like the Amrut tender scandal, which involves Revanth Reddy’s relatives.KTR Challenges C.M on Telangana’s Financial Management. Is there a hidden deal between the BJP and Revanth Reddy?” he asked.

Call for Accountability

KTR demanded clarity from BJP leader Bandi Sanjay regarding the party’s stance on corruption. He urged the BJP to take significant action against any wrongdoing if they are genuinely committed to safeguarding public funds.
