Allu Arjun Faces Ban Threat in Telangana!

Hyderabad: Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun, known for his blockbuster Pushpa movies, is facing backlash in Telangana. Congress MLA Bhoopathi Reddy has warned him to avoid making critical remarks about Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, threatening to ban his films in the state if he doesn’t comply.

Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun is facing intense political and public scrutiny in Telangana. Congress MLA Bhoopathi Reddy criticized the Pushpa star, accusing him of not contributing enough to Telangana despite living in the state. He warned Allu Arjun to “be respectful” when speaking about Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Bhoopathi Reddy also slammed the Pushpa films, claiming they glorify smuggling instead of promoting positive values.

The controversy escalated after a tragic incident during a screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule. A woman lost her life, and her son was injured, sparking outrage. CM Revanth Reddy alleged that Allu Arjun organized a procession at the theatre, which the actor denied. Allu Arjun called the incident a tragic accident and clarified that he holds no grudge against any political leader.

Adding fuel to the fire, Congress MLC Theenmar Mallanna filed a police complaint against Allu Arjun, director Sukumar, and the film’s producers. The complaint accused Pushpa 2 of showing police officers in a disrespectful manner, causing further public backlash.

Hyderabad police recently questioned Allu Arjun for over three hours regarding the theatre incident. They reportedly asked if he was aware of the situation and whether he had secured permissions for any events related to the film’s screening. The actor cooperated but maintained his innocence.

With political warnings, legal issues, and public criticism piling up, Pushpa 2: The Rule faces a challenging road ahead in Telangana. However, Allu Arjun has stood firm, expressing deep regret for the tragedy while denying any wrongdoing. Despite the mounting challenges, fans eagerly await the release of the sequel, while the controversy continues to dominate headlines.
